Quinta da Taberna

We find the place of Quinta da Taberna, where the river flows through a valley with a deep and very sinuous course. It is located on a rocky granite spur where we find unusual shale layers with the appearance of roof tiles. In the surrounding slopes we can see dense woods dominated by holm oaks. A place that will certainly remain in the memory of those who visit it.

It is a geossite of the Estrela Geopark (BG2 ).
