Lord of the Afflicted Chapel

Built in 1853 and dedicated to the worship of Our Lord of the Afflicted.

Every year the village holds the Festival in Honour of the Lord of the Afflicted on the third Sunday in August, where the highlight is the grand candlelight procession with all the images towards the Mother Church, also known as the Cathedral of the Beiras. All the residents of this mountain village take part in the procession.
