Covão do Boi

Is located at an altitude of more than 1850 meters and has an interesting set of granite columns, popularly known as queijeiras. On the rocky walls of this cave, a figure of Our Lady of the Good Star (Nossa Senhora da Boa Estrela) or Patroness of Shepherds, inaugurated in 1946. With a height of about 7 meters, this image was built with the intention of thanking Her for the protection of the shepherds.
