Burel Factory

The Burel Factory is more than a loom factory, it is a place of stories and memories, a place of design and production of burel, the most traditional woollen fabric in the wool industry in Serra da Estrela. Its values are social and ecological sustainability and mountain conservation. In this factory, you can observe the 19th century machines still at work, as well as other traditional equipment, listen to the beating of the looms and be enchanted by the beautiful pieces produced here.

Monday to Saturday at 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
