La Praia Fluvial de Loriga es una playa situada en un antiguo valle glaciar y, sin duda, uno de los lugares más emblemáticos de Loriga, que encanta a todos sus visitantes por su belleza natural. Distintivo con la Bandera Azul, aquí puedes sumergirte en las aguas cristalinas y frescas del arroyo Nave, y también disfrutar de cascadas y pequeñas piscinas naturales. En el área es posible encontrar varias especies características de los medios acuáticos, como la trucha de río, el mirlo acuático y la nutria.

The highest village of Serra da Estrela has at the disposal of all its visitors a bathing area composed of grassy banks and a walkway over the clear waters of the Fervença stream. From here you can observe the surrounding terraces and also enjoy a picnic area, barbecue area and shower rooms.

Is situated at the stream of Alvoco close to the medieval bridge, in Alvoco das Várzeas. In this river beach, it is possible to enjoy the crystalline waters and a picnic area with beautiful trees, as well as to enjoy the gorgeous view of Serra da Estrela. It is a beach awarded with the blue flag and gold medal of the National Association of Nature Conservation-Quercus. It is also classified as accessible beach with an adapted chair.

This is a “floating pool” in the reservoir of the Caldeirão Dam, whose waters come from the Caldeirão stream and its surroundings are composed of wooded slopes and grassy areas.
