Olive Oil Press

Located at the end of the village, on a terrace overlooking the Teixeira stream, there is an oil press for the production of olive oil. The building in shale, is based on an older construction. The object of refurbishment and expansion works occurred in 1995, having been in operation until the beginning of this century. The oil press operated through a gear moved by the force of the water, still conserving part of the original equipment. Over the river, a short distance from the oil press, a rustic bridge with a simple arch and a wide cane for water conduction, built in shale, also contribute to the typical character of the place.
