Serra do Ralo

Is located in the extreme northwest of the Serra da Estrela, corresponding to a plateau area with an altitude of approximately 1000 meters. The favorable topographic and wind conditions of this mountain range led to the installation of a wind farm consisting of 16 aerogenerators.

The landscape is dominated by a mosaic of meadows, broom and agricultural outcrops. The mountain offers wide panoramic views over the middle Mondego valley.
