Penedo House or House of the stone ceiling

It is said that this house, inserted in a boulder (or Penedo, in Portuguese) that serves as its roof, was a shelter for the shepherds who led their cattle through Serra da Estrela. They stayed there overnight, or they just would use it to store food and agricultural implements.
