St John’s Chappel

At the entrance of Moutain Village of Valezim, in a square preceded by a leafy oak tree, there is a small and picturesque chapel of rectangular plan, elevations in granite masonry and open porch supported by four columns of Doric decoration. The main façade is divided by an arched doorway and, on the right side, by a quadrangular window. On the right-side façade, facing east, there is a triangular bell tower topped by a stone cross. Inside, there is an altarpiece in painted and gilded wood.
