Viewpoint of Mocho Real

This geosite of the Estrela Geopark (POP 12) is located almost 700 metres above sea level, on the left bank of the Caldeirão Dam. It is sitting on granitic rocks and from which it is possible to have a wide view over the Mondego valley, the Caldeirão River gorge, and the water mirror of the Caldeirão reservoir. Undoubtedly a viewpoint of mandatory stop, to enjoy a breath-taking view.
