The River Beach of Alvoco das Várzeas

Is situated at the stream of Alvoco close to the medieval bridge, in Alvoco das Várzeas. In this river beach, it is possible to enjoy the crystalline waters and a picnic area with beautiful trees, as well as to enjoy the gorgeous view of Serra da Estrela. It is a beach awarded with the blue flag and gold medal of the National Association of Nature Conservation-Quercus. It is also classified as accessible beach with an adapted chair.
