Canadas of Alvoco da Serra

The Canadas of Alvoco da Serra are located at the foot of the southern slope of the Torre plateau and encompass a complex network of walled paths designated as Canadas. Also known as “Rota das Canadas” (Route of the Canadas), this path covers a landscape dominated by granite outcrops, gorse, heaths and agricultural fields, and has as its starting point the village of Alvoco da Serra.
