Forest of Chestnut Trees of Serra da Gardunha

On the northern slope of Serra da Gardunha, you can glimpse a beautiful wood of chestnut and oak trees, which according to tradition tells that it was D. Dinis who ordered the reforestation of this area. In this wonderful place you can enjoy the best that nature presents us, from terraces of cherry trees, springs, and streams, with fauna and flora typical of these valleys and slopes.
